Fees

The fees for 2025/26 are:

MSc	£13,500 – Full-time Home £33,500 – Full-time International £21,078 – Part-time (2 or 3 years) payment is divided into the number of years you take it over
Postgraduate Diploma	£17,512 – Full-time (£8,756) per year part-time)
Postgraduate Certificate	£10,494 – Full-time (£5,247) per year part-time)
Single module (CPD)	£3,090 – if assessment taken please complete a University of Manchester application form
	£2,055 – if no assessment taken and attendance only please complete a University of Manchester application form Once you have completed the application, please email info.ntec@manchester.ac.uk confirming you have applied and state which course unit you would like to complete. Note: When applying for a single CPD unit, please follow the instructions below: Click apply online (it will say apply for MSc, its fine, just follow the instructions below) Mode of study is Postgraduate Taught. Enter the academic year you wish to take your CPD unit in and filter using the word “Nuclear” There are two options which you need to select from, these are: – PG Modular Nuclear Science & technology – part time (this is the option if you wish to complete the assessments) – PG Modular in Nuclear Science & Technology – attendance only – part time (this is the option if you wish to just attend the unit without the assessments) Payment can be made online using a credit card via the link below or you can provide a Purchase order for an invoice payment. Students currently undertaking a separate postgraduate programme or have been a previous student registered on the MSc programme may attend a single course unit for a discounted fee of £950 (2024-25).

Travel, hotel and food costs are covered while attending course units which are held outside of your registering University up to a maximum of £2,500 for full-time home and overseas students. Please note food expenses must be paid by the student during the unit, then claimed back after the course unit has been attended, claims can take up to 6 weeks to be refunded. NOTE: Fees are payable annually in September. For courses lasting more than 1 year, the fee may be paid in one lump sum or by annual instalments. The annual instalment will be the same amount each year.
